⭐️ Robotic General Surgery
Roadshow 2025 – Mumbai ⭐️
I’m delighted to share that I was invited as a speaker for
the 2025 Intuitive Robotic General Surgery Roadshow held in Mumbai on 26th
November 2025, where I spoke on “Advancing Abdominal Wall Reconstruction
with Robotics.”
With enhanced 3D vision and wristed
instrumentation, robotic surgery has significantly transformed the
management of complex hernias. It enables state-of-the-art preperitoneal
repairs for most hernias and, in many of very large (W3 )midline and
lateral defects, helps avoid open surgery—allowing patients to receive the
full advantages of minimally invasive care.
I demonstrated these benefits using W3 hernia cases from my own series,
supported by postoperative follow-up CT scans.
It was also inspiring to hear the keynote address by Dr.
Mario Leyba, who has performed more than 4,500 robotic surgeries,
and to learn from his extensive experience and technical insights.
The program included excellent sessions on inguinal
hernia, gallbladder surgery, and a focused panel discussion
on key aspects of robotic general surgery.
